By: Adam Scheck On March 14th, Tesla came out with a Model Y. The Model Y is based off of the Model 3, but it is a little bit bigger and a little bit pricier. The car has a five seat interior or a seven seat interior if you pay an extra $3,000. Also, this car can get Autopilot for an extra $3,000 and Full-Self Driving Capability for an extra $5,000. Of course, the Full-Self Driving isn’t out yet because of the government regulations. The Tesla Model Y starts out at $42,700 for the rear-wheel drive, long range version. There is also a long range all-wheel drive for $46,700. And lastly, there is an all- wheel drive, performance version for $55,700. In my opinion, I think that the Tesla Model Y looks good and is an amazing car for its price. I’m very excited to see what Tesla surprises us with next!
