By Adam Scheck Five Months Ago, Tesla released a new sports car. This car is very fast. It does 0-60 in 1.9 seconds, 0-100 in 4.2 seconds, and has a top speed of 250mph. It can also do ¼ of a mile in 8.8. As you can see, this car is very fast. It also has all-wheel drive and seats four people. And lastly, the car has 620 miles of range. Tesla is basing this car off of their first car they made in 2011. It is also called the Roadster. Tesla says that the Roadster will come out in 2020. Even though the roadster sounds very cool, it is very pricy. The normal Roadster’s base price is $200,000. You can now put in a reservation for $50,000. There is also a founders series that is $250,000. I think the new Tesla Roadster is cool but very expensive. What will Tesla make next… A solar car?

By Adam Scheck August just came out with their new third-generation smart lock. If you don’t know what August is, it is a company that makes smart door locks. There are not so many new things from the last one. But there are still some new things. First of all, it comes with a DoorSense door sensor. This sensor is so you can see if your door is not just locked or unlocked, but now if it is open or closed. Not many door locks have this. You can also unlock and lock your door from your Amazon Echo or Google Home. But they do not support Apple HomeKit. So all you iPhone fans out there, you need to stick with app. There are also bad things about this lock. One is that the lock is very noisy. Also, the lock doesn’t work with Z-Wave. I would rate the August third-generation smart lock an 8 out of 10. Can’t wait to see what August makes next! By Adam Scheck On March 16th, Samsung just released the Galaxy S9 and S9+. To start off, the S9 has an amazing 5.8 inch display and the S9+ has a 6.2 inch display. They have also moved the fingerprint scanner from the previous model. They did this because many people couldn’t reach the scanner on the S8. The camera now has stereo sound coming from the top and bottom of the phone. There are 4GB of RAM in the S9 and 6GB of RAM in the S9+. There is a 3,000 milliamp hour battery in the S9 and 3,500 milliamp hour battery in the S9+. They still both have fast charging, fast wireless charging, IP68 water and dust resistance, 64 GB of storage, micro SD card slots, and finally, they both have GB LTE. Many of those things are from the S8 and S8+. Now to the camera. The camera on the Samsung Galaxy S9+ has a wide angle lens. Both cameras have a new variable aperture lens. This means that in the daylight, you can change the lens to F2.4 to get your picture to come out sharp. And if you are in the dark, you can change the lens to F1.5 to pull in light to get a bright and clear photo. For slow-motion, the camera shoots at 240FPS and in super slow-mo, the phone shoots in 960FPS. The slow-motion feature is on both phones. You can also take a video and add music to make it a GIF. Also, you can create an AR version of yourself. That is sort of like the Animoji on the iPhone X. With that, you can express yourself with stickers and put those in text messages. You can also unlock your phone with the iris scanner for a more secure password: your face. This phone has many different features. Some of them are from the S8 and some of them are new. In my opinion, this phone is great for daily use. Here are some pictures of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ below. If you would like to check out the Galaxy S9 or S9+, then click the link below. By Adam Scheck Apple has come out with something extraordinary. This device is the iPhone X. This new mobile phone has a 5.8-inch screen that covers the whole phone. This is also the first device that has Face ID. Face ID means your secure password is your face. It maps your face with over 30,000 invisible dots. Also, there is now portrait mode on the front camera. There is also different modes in portrait lighting. You can learn more by clicking the "iPhone X" button. By Adam Scheck There are many tricks about iOS 11 that you probably don't know. Here are 12 of the tricks that you can use.
By Adam Scheck Lots of cool things happened at Worldwide Developers Conference this year. First of all, Apple created a new software for the Apple Watch. It is called WatchOS 4. There were new watch faces. One of them has Siri blocks. Siri blocks have things that help you like movie times, texts, sport scores, and more. There is also a surprise when you reach your three goals on the Activity app. Apple also re-did the App Store. The app store now has a game and an app section. This can help you find out if you are getting a app or a game. Apple created the first iPad Pro 2. It has an all new 10.5 inch body. It is more powerful than most PC laptops. There will also be a new iOS software. It is called iOS 11. It has stepped up a whole other level. It has a better dock option. You can now put as many apps as you want on your doc instead of 4 apps on iOS 10. Lastly, and this is my favorite. Apple has created HomePod. This is like Alexa with but with Siri. It will be able to control smart home devices. I think this will be better than the Amazon Echo or the Google Home. It can also plays Apple Music. There is much more that happened at WWDC 2017. You can see more at Apple's WWDC Webpage.
By Adam Scheck Uber created self-driving cars in San Francisco and Pittsburgh. They use laser technology to find where it is and what surrounds the car. If you would like to see more, visit www.uber.com/info/atg/car/ and this page will tell you the technology they use. There is still a person in the car just in case something goes wrong. You can get this when there is one nearby and you order an Uber. I think self-driving cars are better than people driving. It can see all around.
By Adam Scheck In 2014, Tesla Motors created Autopilot 1.0. This version can drive if there is lines on the road and if it can see them. It can only go without lines when it is following another car in front. The car can not read stop signs, or red lights In early 2017, Tesla created 2.0. Autopilot 2.0 can do the same thing as 1.0 today. Soon in the year, they say it will be able to drive on roads without lines or cars. It can drive in rain, snow or any other weather. It will automatically look in your calendar to see where you need to go when you get in the car. It will find the destination and drive if you want it to. This full self-driving capability starts at $8,000 in a Model X. For a loan, $117/mo. For a lease, $133/ mo. You will always have to sit in the car for it to drive. If you don't like to drive or if you go on long trips, You should get this feature on a Tesla that you would buy. By Adam Scheck Apple created the Apple TV gen 4. It has Siri. Siri is a voice command system that can control your house, play music, and tell you sport scores. There is also a TV app that can access over 1600 different applications. You can connect the display of your iPod, iPad, Mac, and iPhone on your Apple TV. You could still do that with the last version though. You can also access Apple Music. Apple Music is where you can play any song for $9.99. The Apple TV 4th Generation starts at $169. It is very different than the gen 3. I would definitely get it.
